A Palestinian young man was killed on Wednesday morning after he managed to stab an Israeli security guard at the main entrance to the illegal settlement of Karmei Tzur in al-Khalil south of the occupied West Bank.
According to the Hebrew news website Walla a Palestinian driving a car arrived at the settlement and stabbed a security guard before another guard opened fire at the attacker and wounded him.
The wounded guard was treated at the scene by Israeli paramedics and evacuated soon to a hospital while the young man was left bleeding to death without providing him with any medical assistance.
Immediately after the attack Israeli military and security forces rushed to the area and embarked on scanning it.
The identity of the Palestinian young man is still unknown.
The new stabbing attack took place two days after a Jewish settler sustained a lethal injury and died after he was stabbed by a Palestinian teenager near the illegal settlement of Ariel in Salfit.
The Israeli occupation authority claimed the attacker was 19-year-old Abdul-Karim Assi.
According to analysts such stabbing attacks are carried out in retaliation to crimes and violations committed by Israel and its settlers on a daily basis against the Palestinians their holy sites and their property in the occupied territories.
