A Palestinian teenager was killed and others were injured on Thursday morning during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Kafr Dan town west of Jenin.
Local sources said that 17-year-old Uday Salah was rushed to Jenin Hospital after he suffered a serious bullet injury in the head during confrontations with the IOF in the town but he was pronounced dead a few minutes later.
The sources added that three citizens were also injured one seriously during the events in Kafr Dan.
The clashes with Kafr Dan youths broke out after the IOF raided homes belonging to the families of the two slain young men who carried out a shooting operation yesterday near the Jalamah checkpoint in northern Jenin. Some relatives of the martyrs were reportedly taken prisoners.
Resistance fighters also exchanged fire with Israeli soldiers during the IOF campaign in the town.
Ahmad and Abdul-Rahman Abed (cousins) from Kafr Dan town were shot dead on Wednesday morning following armed clashes with the IOF at the Jalamah checkpoint north of Jenin.
One Israeli officer was killed during yesterday’s gunfight with the cousins.
