Palestinian lawyers on Monday rallied outside the Salem military court near the village of Salem in Jenin announcing their suspension of work and refusal to deal with the court.
According to the Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs the lawyers took their protest step in response to Israeli restrictions on their job and humiliating search measures pursued against them by the prison service.
In this regard the Palestinian Prisoner Society said that the lawyers would hold a meeting on Tuesday to discuss the hardships they face at the Salem court and the next protest step they would take to pressure the Israeli authorities to renounce the arbitrary measures pursued against them.
