A Palestinian youth who was martyred by Israeli army fire earlier Tuesday was laid to rest in Idna west of al-Khalil in the southern occupied West Bank.
Thousands of people attended the funeral of Omar Hasan Awawda 27 was shot and killed by the Israeli military on Tuesday morning.
Awawda was shot with several bullets and seriously injured in the back before he was transferred to hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Israeli army claimed that the martyr was planning to carry out a car-ramming attack.
The claim was strongly denied by his family.
