The Israeli police on Monday prevented the Palestinian Minister of Education Sabri Saidam and Minister of Tourism Rola Ma’ay’a from entering the Old City of Jerusalem.
Based on a decision by Israel’s Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan the two ministers were prevented from participating in an event launched on the completion of the first phase of rehabilitation in a Jerusalem school.
The Israeli police sealed off the area surrounding the school confiscated the IDs of the Palestinian citizens who were planning to attend the event and prevented them from entering the school.
