A 15-year-old Palestinian boy was arrested during clashes on Monday with Israeli police troops in Issawiya district east of Occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources identified the teenager as Issa Abu Riyala adding that he was accused of throwing stones at policemen in Issawiya.
The sources added that the skirmishes started after a force of policemen raided neighborhoods in the district.
The Israeli police for their part affirmed that Abu Riyala was caught throwing stones at its forces and would be detained for questioning.
With this new arrest the number of detainees from Jerusalem has risen on Monday to eight Palestinians including two women who were arrested outside the Aqsa Mosque.
