Palestinian minor injured in hit-and-run by Israeli settler

Monday 25-September-2017

A Palestinian child was left injured on Monday morning after he was hit by a settler driving in the southern occupied West Bank province of al-Khalil.

A PIC news correspondent quoted eyewitnesses as stating that an Israeli settler rammed his car into 17-year-old Ahmed Atef al-Mtour who was driving his bicycle near the northern entrance to al-Khalil.

The child sustained moderate wounds as he was violently run over by the settler who was reportedly driving at a high speed in the area. The boy was rushed to Hadassah Hospital in Occupied Jerusalem for urgent treatment.

The Israeli driver fled the scene leaving the minor bleeding on the ground.

Israeli settlers residing in illegal settlement outposts built on Palestinian lands in the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem have been involved in hundreds of hit-and-run incidents against Palestinian civilians mostly children.
