Israeli settlers attacked overnight Wednesday a Palestinian intelligence officer while he was driving near Ariel illegal settlement outpost in the occupied West Bank.
According to eye-witnesses extremist settlers hurled stones at the car of the Palestinian officer Walid Shubash though he posed no threat to them.
The officer sustained injuries in his hand and got his car severely damaged.
The assault took place in the vicinities of Ariel settlement outpost illegally built on Palestinian lands in the area.
Recent years have witnessed a sharp increase in the pace of Israel’s settler terrorism across the occupied West Bank. Settler violations often include arson attacks property theft home burglary stone-hurling and land grab.
