Palestinian official authorities as well as Palestinian factions on Saturday strongly condemned the attack that took place in the desert of the oases in Giza governorate in Egypt on Friday. The attack resulted in the death of more than 50 security men and the injury of many others.
Condemnation statements and press releases were issued by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and the consensus government as well as by Hamas Movement the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine and Popular Committees. They denounced the attack and voiced the Palestinian people’s condolences to the families of the victims.
Palestinian authorities and factions affirmed solidarity with Egypt and its people and opined that the attack was aimed at weakening the security and stability of the country.
