QALQILIA (PIC)– An elderly Palestinian woman called Salma Haggar hailing from Qalqilia northern West Bank died of her wounds on Saturday after an Israeli settler in a speeding car ran her over on Friday along the road leading to Jerusalem medical sources reported.
The victim was on her way to the eye hospital in Jerusalem when she was run over. Haggar 62 was laid to rest in her village to join the long convoy of Palestinian martyrs who fell at the hands of Israeli settlers and soldiers.
Furthermore within the Israeli series of abductions the IOF troops on Saturday kidnapped a Palestinian young man at a military checkpoint north of Ramallah city in the West Bank and took him to the Israeli intelligence office in Ofer for interrogation at the pretext of carrying a knife in his car.
Furthermore the IOF troops kidnapped Mohamed Albayedh 30 a leader in the Islamic Jihad movement in Ramallah from the Jalazon refugee camp after surrounding and ransacking his home and stealing some personal belongings. Albayedh had been arrested and imprisoned for 6 years in 2002 and released only four months ago.
During another Israeli incursion the IOF troops kidnapped on Saturday night another Palestinian young man called Hammouda Oda from Deir al-Hatab village to the east of the Nablus city after they stormed his house. They also stormed many houses in Nablus at dawn Sunday and forced the Palestinian residents out in the open.
