Detainees and Ex-detainees Committee said in a report on Tuesday that the health condition of prisoner Aziz Uwaisat has severely deteriorated after he had experienced a brain hemorrhage.
The committee elaborated that detainee Uwaisat entered a coma which required transferring him to hospital urgently.
The captive was accused of stabbing one of the jailers after a quarrel at the end of April in Eshel Israeli jail. The report however affirms that the jailers assaulted him by beating while he was taken to hospital despite his critical health condition.
Priosner Uwaisat from Occupied Jerusalem has been arrested since 2014 and serving a sentence to 30 years.
