Palestinian Prisoner Society revealed on Tuesday that the Palestinian captive Wael Abu Shukhdum 38 from al-Khalil has been suffering from kidney pain for four years now without receiving any kind of treatment.
The Society’s lawyer who visited detainee Abu Shukhudum in Nafha Israeli jail pointed out that his suffering worsened after participation in the collective hunger strike last April. Since then he has been complaining of cardiac and arterial hypertrophy beside kidney pain.
The prison management neither informed Abu Shukhdum who is serving a sentence of 6 life imprisonments and 20 years and has been detained for 15 years about the results of any of the medical tests he underwent in jail nor provided him with the appropriate treatment.
