Thursday 1-February-2018

Popular committees in refugee camps in the West Bank on Thursday held sit-ins at the entrances to the refugee camps to protest UNRWA’s cuts of services for the Palestinians as well as the US decision to freeze UNRWA aid.

Mahmoud Mubarak President of West Bank’s Refugees Executive Office said that UNRWA’s services reduction will directly affect refugees stressing that the reduction has already affected the education and health sectors. It is going to influence the financial program in return for work and food which worsens conditions in the refugee camps he added.
