JENIN (PIC)– Palestinian resistance fighters in Jenin district at dawn Thursday confronted the IOF troops’ incursion into their village of Kufr Dan detonating an explosive device and shooting at the invading soldiers.
An IOF spokesman told the Hebrew radio that the IOF unit came under fire in the village but claimed that none of his fighters were hit.
Another IOF unit came under intensive firing during a raid into Nablus city at dawn Thursday according to the IOF spokesman.
On Wednesday Palestinian resistance fighters blasted two locally-made explosive charges in an IOF military convoy while passing near Nablus.
The armed wings of Fatah and the PFLP jointly claimed responsibility for the bombing of two explosive charges in the army convoy in a mountainous area between Nablus and the Til village. They also confirmed that the explosion inflicted casualties in the ranks of the occupation forces.
They affirmed that the resistance fighters clashed with the IOF soldiers soon after the explosion; the report also added that this attack came “in retaliation to the ongoing crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people.”
On the other hand the Mujahideen Brigade and the Qassam Brigades had announced on Tuesday that they had successfully foiled in two separate military operations attempts to infiltrate into Gaza Strip by Israeli special forces after clashing with them.
