According to eyewitnesses Palestinian resistance brigades fired multiple shots at an Israeli aircraft spotted east of Rafah city south of the blockaded Gaza Strip.
The drone backed off shortly afterwards.
The Israeli air force has often used reconnaissance drones to stake out Palestinian resistance sites.
