Israeli occupation forces (IOF) were deployed on Thursday in the vicinity of Teqoa secondary school in Teqoa village in eastern Bethlehem. The IOF soldiers obstructed the education process in the village and confrontations erupted between the soldiers and school students.
The occupation forces raided the school and fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas at the students one of them was hit with a rubber bullet in his foot while others suffered breathing problems.
On Wednesday IOF imposed closure on the village at the pretext of witnessing stone-throwing incidents at the Jewish settlers.
Teqoa village is isolated by five illegal settlements and is exposed to continuous raids by Jewish settlers and IOF soldiers.
