A Palestinian young man on Sunday morning suffered a bullet injury when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at him on allegations of his attempt to carry out a stabbing attack in southern al-Khalil.

According to the Hebrew media Israeli soldiers opened fire at the young man and injured him in his legs near Ein el-Delbeh area at the main entrance to al-Fawwar refugee camp.

An IOF spokesperson claimed the wounded young man tried to carry out a stabbing attack and was neutralized and detained.

A Palestinian young man was wounded and detained by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday afternoon after he allegedly tried to stab soldiers at Ariel Junction north of Salfit in the West Bank.

According to the Hebrew media the young man approached a group of soldiers outside the settlement of Ariel and attempted to stab them before running away.

The young man was shot in the leg and captured a short distance from the area. No soldiers were injured.
