A Palestinian teenager was proclaimed dead on Saturday morning after he succumbed to a bullet injury he sustained in Friday’s protest held on the southeastern border of the besieged Gaza Strip.
According to the health ministry in Gaza 17-year-old Mu’men al-Hams died of a serious bullet injury in his chest.
The boy was directly shot yesterday by an Israeli sniper during his participation in a March of Return protest staged in Rafah area.
His death has raised the number of Palestinian citizens killed by Israeli soldiers on the Gaza border since March 30 to 155 martyrs.
Over 17100 Palestinians have also sustained different injuries since the March of Return protests started in Gaza.
