A Palestinian citizen was reportedly shot dead on Tuesday after he hit an Israeli female soldier with his car and wounded her seriously near the illegal settlement of Kokhav Ya’akov in the West Bank province of Ramallah.
According to the Hebrew media the Palestinian driver is 45-year-old Rani Ma’moun Abu Ali from the West Bank city of Beitunia.
While some news reports affirmed that the driver was killed others claimed he was shot by police officers but his condition was unclear.
As for the female soldier she was seriously wounded with head injuries and evacuated to Shaare Zedek hospital in Occupied Jerusalem.
During the past 24 hours the Israeli occupation forces killed three Palestinian citizens during violent raids on West Bank towns.
