A Palestinian young man was shot and killed Tuesday evening by Israeli gunfire for an alleged stabbing attack at Qalandia checkpoint north of occupied Jerusalem.
Spokeswoman for Israeli police Luba Samri claimed that “a Palestinian pedestrian approached an Israeli security guard in a path for vehicles wielding a knife and he was neutralized.”
No injuries were reported during the alleged stabbing attack.
For its part the Palestinian Health Ministry affirmed that an unidentified Palestinian was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers at Qalandia checkpoint.
