Palestinian stone-hurling attack in response to Israeli aggressions

Monday 30-January-2017

Palestinian protesters on Monday hurled stones at Israeli vehicles driving near Palestinian lands in western Bethlehem leaving an Israeli settler injured.

According to the Hebrew-speaking 0404 news site Palestinian protesters kept since the early morning hours throwing stones at settlers’ cars near Bethlehem’s western town of Hussan and the Beitar Illit illegal settlement built on Palestinian lands in the area.

An Israeli settler sustained light injuries in the anti-occupation stone-throwing attack while four Israeli cars sustained material damage.

The stoning comes in response to the mounting aggressions by the Israeli forces and settlers against Palestinian civilians and Islamic holy sites in the occupied territories.

The Israeli occupation army often refers to Palestinian stone-hurlers as “terrorists” and cracks down on them on a daily basis in an attempt to squash anti-occupation activism.
