A Palestinian teenager was shot dead after ramming his car into a West Bank checkpoint seriously wounding an Israeli soldier on Monday morning.
According to the Hebrew media the slain young man was identified as 16-year-old Muhammad Nidal Yunis from Nablus City.
He was showered with a hail of bullets by other soldiers who were at the military Jabara checkpoint between Tulkarem (West Bank) and Taibeh (the southern Triangle). He was taken to an Israeli hospital where he was pronounced dead.
According to Palestinian sources an Israeli army force raided Yunis’s home in Nablus.
The 34-year-old soldier described by the Hebrew media as a security guard was taken to the Sheba Hospital in a serious condition suffering injuries to his head chest and limbs.
