A Palestinian teenager died on Thursday evening after Israel soldiers opened fire at him near Beit El checkpoint in the northeast of Ramallah city.
A local official said that the Palestinian liaison office told him that the victim was 17-year-old Qasem al-Abbasi from Silwan district in Occupied Jerusalem.
The Israeli occupation army for its part stated that a Palestinian was killed and another was injured on Thursday evening when soldiers opened fire at a car near Beit El checkpoint claiming that the car was trying to breach the barrier.
