The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested Monday evening a Palestinian woman near the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil to the south of West Bank.
According to 0404 Hebrew website IOF stationed at Abu Rish checkpoint detained a Palestinian woman for allegedly holding a knife in her possession.
Local sources identified the detainee as Sabah Abdul Muti Abu Mayala 28.
Palestinians in al-Khalil face the risk of being detained and humiliated every day while passing through the checkpoints scattered in the vicinity of the Ibrahimi Mosque which are basically aimed at restricting the Palestinian citizens’ freedom of movement.
