A Palestinian woman from Ras al-Amud neighborhood in Silwan town in Jerusalem died on Monday evening after contracting coronavirus raising the number of deaths in Palestine to 4.
Spokesperson of Silwan’s emergency committee said that Nofouz al-Jolani 57 died at an Israeli hospital in Jerusalem a few days after being infected with coronavirus.
Meanwhile the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah said at the daily briefing that five coronavirus (COVID-19) cases have been confirmed in the West Bank in addition to two cases that got re-infected after recovering.
At midnight Monday two coronavirus cases were announced in the Gaza Strip among citizens who have returned to the enclave from abroad recently.
The total number of COVID-19 cases has jumped to 329 in the West Bank and Gaza Strip and 120 in Occupied Jerusalem.
