A Palestinian young worker from Dura town in al-Khalil suffered injuries on Wednesday when some Jewish settlers stabbed him during his presence in an area of the 1948 occupied lands (Israel) where he works.
According to local sources 30-year-old Issa Abu Halil was moderately injured when settlers attacked and stabbed him in an area near his workplace.
The worker has suffered from stab wounds in his neck and other parts of his body and has been admitted to Ashdod Hospital.
Incidents of terrorism and violence by extremist Jewish settlers against Palestinians and their property are a daily occurrence.
However Israeli law enforcement authorities exhibit extreme incompetence in addressing such widespread occurrence of settlers’ crimes.
The vast majority of investigation files regarding harm to Palestinians and their property are closed due to deliberate police failure to investigate properly. The deficiencies and flaws in the work of the Israeli police are clearly noticed at every stage of an investigation when the victim is a Palestinian citizen.
