A Palestinian young man was injured on Sunday evening after clashes broke out in Hizma town to the northeast of occupied Jerusalem following Israeli police raid on the town.
The Israeli police forces stormed the town in the afternoon and fired gas bombs and rubber bullets at the young men who responded by throwing stones according to the Quds Press news agency.
The Agency said that a young man was injured in the head with a rubber bullet adding that the Israeli police conduct raids in the town on a daily basis.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society provided the needed treatment for the injured young man and described his injury as “minor”.
Hizma town witnessed violent clashes last week between the Palestinian young men and the Israeli police forces.
