A Palestinian young man was injured on Tuesday evening after he allegedly attempted to carry out a car ramming attack near the crossroad of the settlement of Ofra north of the West Bank city of Ramallah.
“A Palestinian young man was injured in the back after his vehicle stopped near the suspected car ramming attack” the Israeli television channel Reshet Kan reported adding that the Palestinian suspect was arrested.
Meanwhile an Israeli officer was lightly wounded in the leg at the same scene according to the Israeli army radio.
It added that the incident came after an Israeli soldier fired live bullets in an attempt to thwart the attack and hit the officer claiming that the Palestinian young man attempted to run over an Israeli policeman near a military checkpoint at Street 60.
