Israeli soldiers stationed along the borders east of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip shot and injured a Palestinian youth with a live bullet afternoon Thursday.
A PIC news correspondent said paramedics evacuated a wounded youth after he was shot by Israeli soldiers deployed near the border fence.
The young man remains unidentified.
The Israeli military has frequently targeted Palestinian civilians and farmers gathering near Gaza’s border fence with live rounds and teargas canisters.
At least 11 Palestinians were killed and 900 others injured in clashes with the Israeli occupation army near flashpoints east of the blockaded Gaza Strip since early last December 2017.
