RAMALLAH (PIC)– A Palestinian young man died on Thursday evening of wounds sustained in earlier clashes with the Israeli occupation troops in northern Ramallah.

Local medics said 38-year-old Shadi Ghbeish succumbed to the wounds he sustained a few weeks ago in clashes with the Israeli occupation army in the al-Jalazun refugee camp.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry Shadi was hit with Israeli bullet fire on December 4 2015 and had been hospitalized for 10 days at the Palestine Medical Complex before he left on December 13.

The young man breathed his last at his family home following a sudden exacerbation in his health status.

Medics attributed his death to complications inflicted by the wounds he suffered following clashes with Israeli soldiers.

Shadi’s death brings the number of Palestinians killed by the occupation army since the outburst of the ongoing anti-occupation uprising to 144 including 27 children and seven women. At least some 16000 more Palestinians have been left wounded.
