A Palestinian young man was proclaimed dead on Sunday after he succumbed to his serious bullet injury he sustained when Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired at him in Jenin on Saturday evening.
According to the director of Jenin’s Ibn Sina Hospital Jani Abu Jukha the Palestinian young man Kamel Alawna 25 died of his critical wounds in the stomach and the right hand after Israeli soldiers fired at him during clashes that erupted in Jaba’ village in Jenin.
For its part the Hamas Movement expressed its deepest condolences to the Palestinian martyr Alawna’s family hailing the bravery of the Palestinian freedom fighters and martyrs in the West Bank city of Jenin.
“The blood of our martyrs is not cheap and Israel has to pay heavy price for its crimes” the Movement said in a press statement commenting on the Israeli killing of Alawna.
Alawna’s death has brought the number of Palestinians martyred in Jenin since the beginning of 2022 to 28.
