Several Israeli cars boarded by Jewish settlers were thrown with stones during violent clashes with the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on a road near Azzun town east of Qalqilya in the West Bank.
Local sources told a reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the IOF intensified its presence near Azzun town after settlers’ cars were hurled with stones by local young men.
They said that hardly a day passes without the IOF closing the entrances to Azzun town and obstructing the movement of local residents.
There are three illegal settlements and one military post stretching over vast tracts of grabbed Palestinian land in Azzun town and its vicinity.
