Hafez Al-Karmi President of the Palestinian Forum in Britain thanked the Arab communities for their support especially the Syrian Iraqi Yemeni Lebanese and Egyptian communities for their solidarity with Jerusalem in the event of the ‘Arab Communities Day for Jerusalem’ in Britain which was organized by the Women’s Section at the Palestinian Forum in Britain on Saturday 04.01.2020 at Nadi Park Royal London with presence of hundreds of Arabs residing in London.
Iman Al-Khatib the head of the women’s section at the forum confirmed the periodicity of this activity annually where Arab women meet and present traditional food dishes from their countries as a donation towards the event with all proceeds going towards the needy in Jerusalem.
During the day an auction was organized on a painting of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque which was sold for about $1500 and the children gave a silent play about the Palestinians’ suffering in reaching Al-Aqsa Mosque and preventing them from praying in it.
