A number of Palestinians were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces at daybreak Wednesday in abduction sweeps rocking the West Bank.
The Israeli military claimed responsibility for the abduction of seven Palestinians over allegations of involvement in anti-occupation activities.
The campaign targeted Palestinian youths from Ramallah al-Khalil and Tubas.
At the same time clashes burst out at dawn shortly after Israeli patrols rolled into Anza town south of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank and showered the area with heavy spates of teargas.
19-year-old Ibrahim Nawasra was subjected to heavy beating before he was kidnapped by Israeli soldiers from Fahma town south of Jenin.
The sweep culminated in the abduction of two Palestinian youths by the occupation forces from Tubas city.
Palestinian citizen Ali Alyan was injured in the assault. He was transferred to the Turkish Hospital in Tubas.
