Dozens of Palestinians were kidnapped at daybreak Monday in abduction sweeps launched by the Israeli occupation forces across the West Bank and Jerusalem.
The Israeli army claimed responsibility for the abduction of 22 Palestinians on allegations of their involvement in anti-occupation activities.
The list of arrestees includes three Palestinians from Mughreir village east of Ramallah three from Kafr Malek and Senjel to the north and two others from al-Khalil’s northern town of Surif.
Palestinian ex-prisoner Mohamed Abu Esneineh 23 was kidnapped by the IOF from his home in the Abu Esneineh neighborhood in al-Khalil.
Overnight the occupation forces wreaked havoc on Abu Esneineh’s family home in the hunt for the ex-prisoner before they re-assaulted the house at the crack of down and wreaked havoc on it.
The assault culminated in the abduction of two Palestinians from Jerusalem’s eastern town of Abu Dis along with scores of Palestinian young men from Bethlehem Tulkarem and Qalqiliya.
The IOF ransacked civilian homes in Nablus Jenin and Abu Dis.
At the same time an Israeli patrol broke into the home of the Hamas leader Redwan Abu Thabet in Beit Dajen east of Nablus and cracked down on the residents.
