Several Palestinians were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces at daybreak Monday in an abduction sweep rocking the West Bank.
The Israeli army claimed responsibility for the abduction of 22 Palestinians including 10 from Nablus and three from Jenin.
Local sources said the IOF stormed Nablus’s southeastern town of Qasra overnight and wreaked havoc on civilian homes before they kidnapped eight Palestinians.
The occupation forces also stormed al-Makhfiya neighborhood in Nablus and kidnapped the young man Amr al-Shami. Clashes burst out shortly afterwards.
Another Palestinian youth—Anas Hamdi—was kidnapped by the IOF from Zawata town west of Nablus.

At the same time dozens of Israeli soldiers stormed Jenin refugee camp in the northern occupied West Bank at the crack of dawn sparking clashes with Palestinian anti-occupation youth.
The occupation patrols kidnapped three Palestinian young men from the city after they ravaged their homes and aggressively attacked their family members.
An assault on Qalqilya culminated in the abduction of youngster Islam Sherim from his home.
A set of ambushes was also set up by the Israeli soldiers in the area where Palestinian vehicles and civilians have been made to endure intensive inspection.
The IOF further sealed off the northern entrance to Azzoun barring Palestinians’ access out of and into the area overnight.
In the meantime a number of Palestinians were kidnapped by the occupation forces from the West Bank provinces of al-Khalil Ramallah Jericho and Bethlehem.
The IOF further rummaged into civilian homes in al-Arroub refugee camp north of al-Khalil and ransacked the home of ex-prisoner Murad al-Rajoub southwest of al-Khalil.
