Dozens of Palestinian citizens marched on Saturday in the funeral of a Palestinian youth who was killed by the Israeli occupation forces on Friday.
Sa’di Muammar 26 was shot dead while taking part in the Great March of Return east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.
The funeral procession set off from the European Hospital in Khan Younis city toward Muammar’s family house in al-Nasr neighborhood northeast of Rafah before he was buried.
Muammar was one of two Palestinian civilians killed on Friday by the Israeli occupation forces who opened fire at unarmed protesters along Gaza’s eastern border.
Since the start of the border protests on 30th March dozens of Palestinians have been killed and thousands injured as a result of the Israeli army’s use of lethal force against the peaceful protesters.
