Hundreds of Palestinians marched on Tuesday evening in the funeral procession of the slain Palestinian youth Mohamed al-Salhi in the northern Jordan Valley district of Tubas.
Palestinians took to Tubas streets carrying Salhi’s cadaver on their shoulders hours after the casualty was fatally shot by the occupation soldiers at his home in al-Feraa refugee camp.
Activists political leaders and civilians joined the procession which kicked off from al-Ribat Mosque in al-Feraa on way to al-Shuhadaa Cemetery.
Tubas governor Rabih al-Khandagji dubbed Israel’s cold blooded execution of 32-year-old al-Salhi in the presence of his elderly mother “a war crime” and “a war against humanity.”
The governor urged the international community to take up its moral and humanitarian duty as regards the horrendous Israeli crimes against the innocent Palestinians.
The mourners chanted slogans condemning the simmering Israeli terrorism and calling for retaliation.
