The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) erected on Tuesday morning a military checkpoint at the entrance to Deir Istiya town west of Salfit.
Eyewitnesses affirmed that local residents were subjected to verbal abuse and harassment after being stopped and searched at the military checkpoint.
The soldiers claimed that the youths are involved in stone-throwing attacks.
