OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PIC)– The Islamic Movement in the 1948 occupied Palestinian lands has called Thursday on Palestinian citizens to continuously head to the Aqsa Mosque in order to defend it against possible Israeli attacks.
The call of the Movement comes in the aftermath of fanatic Jewish calls to attack the Aqsa Mosque next Thursday to “clean it of the Arab desecration”. The movement said that free transportation would be organized for that purpose.
For its part the Aqsa foundation for endowment and heritage asserted that maintaining constant presence in the Aqsa Mosque in such a sensitive situation was a religious duty and a necessary step to ward off the Israeli aggression on the Mosque.
On Wednesday fanatic Jewish groups estimated to nearly 250 elements including a number of Israeli politicians and rabbis have desecrated the holy Muslim shrine and performed their Talmudic rituals inside the Mosque’s plazas.
Sheikh Kamal Al-Khatib the prominent Muslim leader in the Movement pointed out that the Israeli desecration of the Mosque increased recently and turned into a daily habit for the fanatic Jewish groups.
