Violent clashes broke up on Tuesday afternoon between Palestinian youths and the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in al-Arroub refugee camp north of al-Khalil.
The PIC reporter said that the IOF heavily fired teargas bombs and stun grenades at the Palestinian citizens’ houses while the youths responded by throwing stones and empty bottles.
Local residents said that the IOF stormed the camp in search for stone throwers assaulted shop owners and sprayed sewage on Palestinian houses.
Tension has prevailed in al-Arroub over the past three days as the IOF soldiers have repeatedly launched raid and arrest campaigns into the camp.
