Clashes were reported between Palestinian youths and Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Friday following the anti-settlement marches in several areas of the West Bank.
Several Palestinians were injured and others suffered breathing problems after IOF soldiers fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear-gas bombs at Palestinian protestors in Kafr Qaddoum village in Qalqilya and Beit Dajan village in Nablus.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that seven Palestinian young men were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets while others suffered breathing problems in Kafr Qaddoum.
In another development IOF soldiers intensified their presence at the military checkpoint of Beit Furik east of Nablus and several checkpoints south of Nablus imposing restrictions on the movement of martyr Ammar Muflih’s funeral procession.
Earlier on Thursday the Israeli authorities released the body of Ammar Muflih from Usarin village in the Nablus district who was shot dead in cold-blood by an Israeli soldier on the 2nd of December 2022.
