Several Palestinians were left injured on Wednesday evening in violent clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in Jerusalem’s eastern town of Abu Dis.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent organization a Palestinian civilian was shot and injured with rubber bullets in his mouth. He was later rushed to a hospital for urgent treatment.
11 Palestinian protesters choked meanwhile on teargas randomly fired by the Israeli soldiers all the way through the confrontations.
The round of clashes burst out shortly after the Israeli forces stormed the town. The Palestinian protesters reacted to the assault by hurling stones at the heavily-armed occupation patrols.
