A Palestinian young man last night suffered injuries when an extremist Jewish settler attacked him with a sharp object in an area near Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Occupied Jerusalem.
According to local sources a settler attacked Najem Qatinah with a sharp object and injured him as he was walking home after leaving his workplace near Sheikh Jarrah.
Another young man also suffered injuries when settlers savagely beat him during his presence in the holy city. He was identified as Namer al-Khadour from the east Jerusalem village of Biddu.
Meanwhile Israeli police forces stormed the house of Salah Diyab in Sheikh Jarrah and physically assaulted him before detaining him. He suffered injuries.
The police also assaulted and rounded up other citizens during their presence in the same house.
In al-Khalil a Palestinian citizen suffered injuries when a horde of settlers attacked him in Masafer Yatta area.
Local official Fuaad al-Amour said that settlers attacked and injured 59-year-old Mahmoud Hamamdeh upon his return to his home in al-Mufaqra area in Masafer Yatta.
