Hordes of extremist Jewish settlers last night attacked Palestinian citizens and property in different areas of the occupied West Bank.
According to local sources a group of settlers hurled rocks at a Palestinian citizen’s car as it was traveling on a road near Burin village in the south of Nablus.
Mohamed Najjar said that he was with his family aboard the car when the settlers attacked them adding that the settlers put nails on the road in an attempt to make the car overturn.
The settler attack caused panic among Najjar’s family members and damaged the car.
In al-Khalil another gang of settlers physically assaulted Palestinian citizens and attacked them with pepper spray as the latter tried to prevent the assailants from deploying a prefabricated house on a privately owned piece of land.
Local sources explained that settlers invaded the 25-dunum land of Aref Jaber in al-Baq’ah area near the illegal settlement of Kiryat Arba and tried to place a makeshift house on the site before local residents confronted them.
In another incident a Palestinian woman identified as Najah Owais a resident of al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya village in Nablus suffered injuries when settlers threw rocks at Palestinian cars travelling on a road near the illegal settlement of Shilo in northern Ramallah.
