Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday carried out new search and arrest campaigns in different West Bank provinces.
Violent confrontations broke out between Palestinian citizens and the IOF after the latter stormed Qalqilya city at dawn Tuesday.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that the IOF arrested two Palestinian youths after raiding their family houses in the city while a number of Palestinian citizens choked on teargas during the clashes.
Other clashes were reported in Jenin in the northern West Bank where five Palestinian youths were arrested after having their family houses searched.
According to local sources the IOF at daybreak raided several towns in Nablus amid heavy firing of sound bombs and clashed with Palestinian citizens.
