Palestinians lay to rest 4 martyrs killed by Israeli forces

Palestinian masses on Saturday laid to rest four martyrs who were shot dead by Israeli forces in Occupied Jerusalem Gaza Strip and al-Khalil.

In Occupied Jerusalem thousands of Palestinians in Anata town bade farewell to martyr Basel Ibrahim who was buried in the town’s cemetery. He was shot in the chest and killed during clashes between unarmed Palestinian citizens and Israeli occupation soldiers.

In Beit Oula town to the northwest of al-Khalil city in the southern West Bank a massive crowd buried Mohammad Aqel who was shot and killed at Ramallah’s northern entrance known as the DCO after he allegedly stabbed one of the Israeli soldiers.

Thousands of people in the Gaza Strip participated in the funeral of two Gazans one of them disabled shot dead by Israeli soldiers who opened fire at Palestinian civilian protesters near the border fence on Friday. Ibrahim Abu Thuraya who lost both of his legs in one of Israel’s wars on Gaza was laid to rest in al-Shati refugee camp while Yasir Sukkar was buried in al-Shajayeh east of Gaza City.

The funeral was attended by head of Hamas’s Political Bureau Ismail Haneyya along with other leaders of the Palestinian factions.

Hundreds of others were also injured in the West Bank Occupied Jerusalem and Gaza Strip in the Israeli army crackdown on the protests that raged against the US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital on December 6.
