Palestinian activists vowed to keep up the open-ended vigil in Khan al-Ahmar Bedouin village until Israel backtracks on its decision to demolish the hamlet.
Head of the anti-settlement committee Walid Assaf said the Palestinians will defend the Bedouin village and other communities threatened with demolition by the Israeli occupation.
“We will stand on guard until the demolition decision is canceled once and for all” said the activist.
An Israeli court on Saturday announced that the village’s destruction would be delayed until further notice.
