Hundreds of Palestinians held Friday’s noon prayers at the Bedouin community of Khan al-Ahmar east of Occupied Jerusalem in a show of solidarity with its residents who are fighting Israeli attempts to displace them and demolish their village.
The imam (preacher) condemned the US attempts to pass a new bill that recognizes only 40000 Palestinian refugees saying such moves seek to liquidate the Palestinian cause and hold sway over Palestinian land under a legal guise.
The imam stressed the need to mobilize support for Khan al-Ahmar which is threatened with demolition by the occupation forces and to stand on guard to Israel’s settlement schemes.
