Palestinian citizens performed Friday prayer in the vicinity of UNRWA hospital in Qaliqlia for the seventh consecutive week.
Dozens of locals gathered outside the hospital affirming their total rejection to UNRWA’s intention to close the hospital which provides basic services for Palestinian refugees in the city.
They also called for working to improve the hospital’s conditions and the UNRWA’s services allocated for more than 750000 Palestinian refugees in the West Bank.
UNRWA had earlier declared intention to close the medical facility after the closure of the department of obstetrics and gynecology at the same hospital.
